Tram
Tram routes 96, 109, and 12 will take you to stop 124A Casino/MCEC/Clarendon Street which is outside our Clarendon Street entrance.
Routes 70, 75, and the City Circle will take you to Stop 1 Spencer St/Flinders St, then you will need to make your way down Clarendon Street, generally a 5 minute walk.
Trams on routes 96 and 109 are usually low floor. To find out if the next tram at your stop will be a low-floor tram, look for the wheelchair symbol on tramTRACKER®.
Low-floor trams have allocated spaces for passengers using wheelchairs or mobility aids.

The College recognises the importance of sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of our events and as such, we do not offer delegate satchels at our annual Congress, and limit printing as much as possible. Instead we provide an app and digital program / handbook and book of abstracts in place of printed versions.
The Centre is centrally located and a short walk from the Congress hotels and Southern Cross train station so you can travel by foot or via public transport if you live locally. We also encourage all delegates to bring a reusable Keep Cup with you to Congress each day for your tea or coffee and ask that you ensure you use the separate waste bins that are provided throughout the Centre for your rubbish. Please also consider offsetting the carbon emissions from your travel when you book your flights and / or making a carbon offset contribution with your Congress registration.
The MCEC is government owned and therefore a total non-smoking venue. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas.
