REDUCING OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The College recognises the importance of sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of our events and as such, we do not offer delegate satchels at our annual Congress, and limit printing as much as possible. Instead, we provide an app and digital program / handbook and book of abstracts in place of printed versions.
The Centre is centrally located and a short walk from the Congress hotels so you can travel by foot or via public transport if you live locally. We also encourage all delegates to bring a reusable Keep Cup with you to Congress each day for your tea or coffee and ask that you ensure you use the separate waste bins that are provided throughout the Centre for your rubbish. Please also consider offsetting the carbon emissions from your travel
when you book your flights and / or making a carbon offset contribution with your Congress registration.
Te Pae Christchurch is proud to be Toitū Enviromark Gold and net carbonzero certified, meeting internationally recognised standards of measuring, managing and reducing lifecycle emissions from their operation.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Nations and the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands and waters now known as Australia, and Māori as tangata whenua in Aotearoa, also known as New Zealand. We recognise those with lived and living experience of a mental health condition, including community members and all RANZCP members. We affirm their ongoing contribution to the improvement of mental healthcare for all people.
